Thailand here I come!!!

As a lot of you know, I am heading to Thailand for the 2nd semester of Institute for Global Opportunities (IGo)!  I am leaving August 20th and returning Dec. 16th.
   I will be spending most of my time in Chiang Mai.  I will be there for one semester which consists of 3 terms that are 5 weeks long.  In a term there will be 3 weeks of study (yes school), then a one week ministry trip which several will include other asian countries.  I do not know which countries I will be going to yet.  I will give you an update when I know.

The Joys of Hunting!!!

I On Dec 6, Josiah, my cousin Andrew headed up to Juniata county to go hunting!!  We stopped in at Mel's for supper and had a great time (even if it was short) with them!!  We continued on up and arrived at bed time!!  

   We got an early start but I didn't have any luck!!!  Here is a picture of what I looked at most of the day!

Yes, snow and bare trees!!!

    I still (like a good hunter) enjoyed my day in the woods!!

Sunday was fun as well as edifying!  It started snowing early in the afternoon!!  Josiah and decided to leave for Washington county around 4:30 thinking that we would then have less problem with the slippery roads!!  That's what happened too!!   We got out to our Uncle Gerald's place around 9!  

   The next morning I shot a nice sized doe at 7:10 in the morning!!  (That's real hunting!!!). 

Josiah's is all the way to the right!!  Mine is the third one in from the left!!

The rest you will just need to wait to hear till we get back!!

It's so good to be home!!!

Thank you all for your prayers when we were in Mexico and on the road!!!  We were very blessed to be there and get to know Many of the church families!!!  

    For the folks in Mexico, please don't be offended when I say that Lancaster County is still home!!!! I do love Mexico but I know that God has me here for a purpose and till He calls me elsewhere this is where I will stay!!!  Don't worry, I'll be back down to see you all sometime!!!
